INTRODUCTION:
In the year 1977, a small number of Astronomy amateurs, founded the expeditionary Group COSMOSUR. This gave them the opportunity to make various trips in order to register with different technologies of observation one of the most impressive natural phenomena that the human being can enjoy: Total Eclipse of Sun. In three almost consecutive years, we achieved to observe and to register successfully the total eclipses that passed by Kenya (1.980), Central Siberia (1.981) and Java (1.983). This page pays homage to the persons who remained for the way and who without their participation, Cosmosur had not been what was, has been and it will be.
VIDEO ASTRONOMY:
Despite the very satisfactory results achieved in the first expedition to Kenya, on February 16th of 1.980, not only photographic but also cinematographic, due to a small mishap in the filming of 16 mm of the eclipse, it was decided that in the following expedition of July 31 of 1.981, that was undertaken in Bratsk (Central Siberia), the recording will be done by means of video support, concretely with a Sony filming equipment that recorded in format U-Matic of 3/4 ". On this way, the group managed to obtain the short-film of a Total Eclipse of Sun, for the first time for our country, in a video support. Since then the author Alfredo Vidal has been experimenting on this audio-visual field with different cameras either domestic or industrial type, producing small video clips of documentary interest, being its way of publication the content of this blog. From now on they will be appearing in this blog, small clips of video astronomy which have never been published previously in the net. The only merit of this consists on the fact that they were obtained by the analogues devices that existed in this time, before we entered in the current digital age, with the current cameras CCD, webcams and other modern devices to capture digital images.

INTRODUCCION:
Con motivo de la formación del Grupo expedicionario COSMOSUR, en el año 1.977, un reducido número de personas aficionadas a la Astronomía tuvieron la oportunidad de registrar con diferentes técnicas de observación el desarrollo de uno de los fenómenos naturales más impresionantes de los que puede disfrutar el ser humano: Un Eclipse Total de Sol. En tres años casi consecutivos se lograron observar y registrar con éxito los eclipses totales que transcurrieron por Kenya (1.980), Siberia Central (1.981) y Java (1.983). Esta página sirve de homenaje a las personas que se quedaron por el camino y que sin su participación, Cosmosur no hubiera sido lo que fue, ha sido y será.
VIDEOASTRONOMIA:
A pesar de lograr en la primera expedición a Kenya, el 16 de febrero de 1.980, unos resultados muy satisfactorios tanto foto como cinematográficos, debido a un pequeño percance en la filmación de 16 mm del eclipse, se optó en la siguiente expedición del 31 de Julio de 1.981, realizada en Bratsk (Siberia Central), por realizar la filmación central con soporte de video, concretamente con un equipo de filmación de la marca Sony y que grababa en formato U-Matic de 3/4", logrando realizar el primer corto de un Eclipse Total de Sol por primera vez para nuestro país en un soporte videográfico. Desde entonces el autor Alfredo Vidal ha ido experimentando en este campo audiovisual con diferentes cámaras tanto de tipo doméstico como industrial, realizando pequeños clips de interés documental, cuyo medio de publicación será el contenido en este blog. En lo sucesivo irán apareciendo en éste, pequeños clips videoastronómicos inéditos en la red, y cuyo único mérito reside en que fueron obtenidos con los dispositivos análogicos que había en esa época, antes de que entraramos en la actual era digital, con las actuales cámaras CCD, webcams y demás dispositivos de captación de imagenes digitales modernos. 29 de Enero de 2009.
